We are a cover band who likes a wide range of great music. With all four members willing and able to sing we have the ability to cover a wide range of sounds and styles. We can hit you a headsplitting ACDC cover and then come back with a mellow Santana tune.

2nd Chance is honored to be part of this years Music at the Juntion
celebration. Each member is not only a part of the community, but we are
all raising families here as well. The band has a deep sense of
community pride and applaud the efforts of all those that work so hard to
bring such a worthwhile event to the valley. We appreciate the
oppurtunity to be a part of this event, and feel we can truly bring something to
the table for all to enjoy at this years Music at the Junction!
"Band Bio":
2nd Chance was given life by three brothers and the common love they
share for music, but more specifically Rock and Roll.
"Family" always has played a large part in the dynamic of the group,
and will continue to do so for years to come. The band was actually
formed to take part in a benfit in an effort to help family during a
difficult time; At this point the chemistry was unmistakable, and it was
clear that 2nd Chance was going to become a life changing event for all of
those involved. Shortly hereafter, each member quit the bands they
were working with in order to devote more time and attention to 2nd
Chance. A risky move to be sure, as everyone involved was leaving paying
gigs for the vision of what 2nd Chance could (and was about to) become.
The next year or so was spent solely in preparation and rehearsal, and
the band chose to not entertain numerous offers for gigging during this
time. This is unheard of for most "working" bands, but it was the
direction that 2nd Chance wanted to move in. The group wanted to be around
for YEARS to come, and since "you don't get a second chance to make a
first impression", great pains were taken to insure that all would be
right for when the band was ready.
2nd Chance hit the local scene around midway through 2006, and has been
a staple of it ever since. Although the band does travel, "home" is and
always will be right here in the Arkansas Valley, and the band loves
playing here any oppurtunity that it gets.
Even though the band is rooted in its love of all things Rock, ALL
styles of music are not only enjoyed but also drawn upon in many ways.
Rock and Roll will always be the heart of 2nd Chance, but it is certainly
not uncommon to hear the band delve into other styles of music. The
band decided to walk the fine line of playing the songs that they WANTED
to play, but to also give the people what they wanted to hear. As easy
as this sounds, it is comparable to walking a tightrope, and locally
there is no band that can pull this off on the level that 2nd Chance
does.
In a never-ending attempt to "take the music past where you found it",
the love of music is also being nurtured and passed along within the
younger generation of the family. The "Chancettes" are a group of lovely
young ladies that are being groomed to sing, play and perform as well.
It just so happens that they are all children of the members of 2nd
Chance; and although not frequent it is also not unheard of to see them
"cut their teeth" and perform with the band. When they do, it is always
a real treat!
Above all else, it just has to be stressed that 2nd Chance can be
summed up in one word that has been a recurring theme throughout: Family.
This, combined with a passion for music and performance, is what makes
2nd Chance such a sucess.
