Founded in 2006, Second Aspect combined the talent and passion of Lindsey Byrne and Marina Kenny. Specialising in highly cinematic Music Videos and Documentaries. Exploiting their skills of directing, cinematography, producing and editing, to explore the vast potential of the complimentary combination of Film and Music.
Lindsey Byrne and Marina Kenny Graduated from The National Film School Dun Laoghaire in May 2007. Both have worked on film projects in her specialist areas: Marina: Production, Lindsey: Editing, Directing and Camera.
Both Lindsey and Marina were selected from over 3600 applicants from 101 countries from all over the world to attend the Berlin Talent campus, (Lindsey for editing, Marina for scriptwriting). Making them both official "talents". The Talent Campus is a workshop networking campus held in Berlin in February in connection with Berlinale, the Berlin Film Festival. Speakers included Michel Gondry, Wim Wenders, Anthony Dod Mantle, Park Chon Wooks, Angie Lam, Jim Clark, Peter Kubelba and many more. Talents had the opportunity to meet and chat with all speakers and both Lindsey and Marina found the experience to be invaluable.
Unfortunately, no further work will be done under the Second Aspect banner. Work will continue, with Lindsey, under Manina Film.
