About me: This profile is for anyone interested in saving animals from euthanasia by proactively promoting free spaying and neutering of animals in Maricopa County, Arizona (eventually to take on the country!).
We also foster shelter animals, give animals a second chance after rehabilitation, and provide information on low cost vaccinations.
We have a picture section of our available kittens and cats rescued from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. As often as we have space as are COMPLETELY foster run (we do not have a physical shelter as we never want our animals caged again), we pull cats and kittens from the dreaded euthanasia list. We bring these animals home, despite medical issues, behavioral issues, and many other issues, and love them as our own. We have recently joined a nonprofit registered organization as their cat division! Hooray! We are now officially part of FINDING FIDO, see all their animals on www.petfinder.com
Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, FELV/FIV test, and a microchip (cuz who is kidding, 80% of the "strays" at the shelter are someone's beloved pet at some point). The adoption fee for kittens is $95. If we have had an animal for a long time or a "senior" kitty, they may be eligible for "Lonely Hearts" which is a lesser fee to help them get a home sooner.
If you have questions concerning behavior of animals or need advice about spaying, neutering, vaccinating, or general animal health care questions feel free to ask!
We recently ended up with 6 abandoned VERY ill kittens. They were crammed into a tiny box and were only found because they were screaming after having been left out in the hot sun (it was 90 degrees out at the time) in front of Petsmart where we were doing adoptions. They were so sick their eyes were completely shut, covered in filth and urine, were in such a small box that they couldn't move, and are wheezing heavily. We are taking these kittens on as an individual project to attempt to save their lives. We know its going to be a long road ahead but we want to give them the chance that clearly someone else did not. Several of them are highly terrified of people as well. They clearly came from at least three different litters. Please check our profile pictures if you'd like to see them, I didn't take time to snap photos until I had at least cleaned them up enough for them to breath. Plus what you can't tell by the pictures... is how much they smelled... please help us to save these little guys. All donations will go DIRECTLY to their health care. Thank you

We are always in need of donations,
We can use:
paper towels
blankets
cleaning supplies (bleach based to kill disease)
clumping cat litter
wet and dry kitten food (we've had good luck with nutro max and nine lives)
kitten toys, collars, beds etc
Dog crates and kennels
Cat/dog carriers
and just about anything else you can think of we can probably use
Any supplies that we are stocked on we share with the many other rescues we regularly work with! (our dog other half appreciates all dog food and dog supplies as well of course!)
We are completely volunteer and donations run. Our adoption fees never cover all the work we do to save these animals' lives. Frequently despite the best vet care we do lose animals as well and please always keep them in your thoughts and prayers >^..^<
Monetary donations can be sent here: (receipts for donations for over $250 can be provided for tax-deductions) Thank you!

I just wanted to give you an update and let you know that Sharkbait (aka Darwin!) is doing absolutely fantastic!! He is my little shadow and sleeps with me every night! (and then attacks me from on top of the blanket every morning!)
I'm so thankful to have found you guys and so greatful that Claire let me bring this beautiful and loving boy into my home!
I think it is so great that you are taking in all these cats and kittens. I wish I could take in as many as you do... so far I have only been able to save 2. I ended up keepin one of them and found a home for the other. One day when I have a bigger place... I would love to start my own rescue. But in the mean time... great people like you are doing what few others wish they could. Thank you so much on behalf of the animals and god bless your hearts.
Ty for the add. About a month ago we went looking for a cat to join our family. We went to our local animal clinic. I thought I was getting a different cat. We went into the cat area to interact with that one and Buddy found us. We are so blessed he did. He was taken from a home that had over 30 cats and he wasn't properly taken care of. He is 7 years old. The clinic said because of his age it is harder to place him. He is such a loving cat. We are proud to have him in our family. So for Buddy his older years will be the best years of his or any cats life. We only helped one cat. Thank you for helping so many. To me you are a hero.
