About me: Second Chance Trees is a beautiful island in Second Life designed to aid reforestation efforts. Converseon Inc., a social media communications agency, and Plant-It 2020, a nonprofit tree-planting foundation started by late singer John Denver, are collaborating in an effort to plant, maintain and protect as many indigenous trees as possible worldwide.
When you buy an endangered virtual tree we will plant a real tree of that type in a real rainforest. To buy a tree, visit our island in Second Life and just right click on the tree and pay $L300. That is only a bit over $1 US, of which the proceeds will go to planting a tree in a real rainforest.
After you buy your virtual tree, please take advantage of all the beautiful sights of our island. Boat rides, a hidden cave, and winding paths to view the numerous waterfalls and exotic plants are just a few of its treasures. Feel free to come back and visit anytime, as we will be holding concerts and other events in the future!
