Sublime, Falling Idols, The Ziggens, Bad Religion, Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, THE TOYES, The Vandals, Half Pint, Snoop Dogg, Pharcyde, Inner Circle (hahahaha), Led Zeppelin, Burning Spear, The Police, Phish, Grateful Dead, and of course, Brad Nowell, Bud Gaugh, and Eric Wilson.
We are Secondhand Smoke, and we are dedicated to keeping the Sublime legacy alive by performing the songs live, and recreating the Sublime show experience. We AREN'T a business. We can't compete with Badfish (sadly, neither can Bud or Eric.). We don't want to try to BE Sublime. We are just a bunch of musicians that like to play a Sublime show once in a while. We play every song, no matter how difficult or obscure. We get a little wasted sometimes. We drive around in a smelly van. SEE OUR SHOW!
Secondhand Smoke is a trio, like Sublime. With every passing show, the sound becomes more and more like Sublime. You simply need to check out a show to get a taste! Flawlessly ripping out all of the best tunes, no matter how obscure.
We ARE FANS playing FOR FANS. We are on a mission to prove that we are the best Sublime Tribute in the world. There are no gimmicks. Talk is cheap, we know. So come to a show and let us prove it!
Horseshit. Complete horseshit. Is Chris gonna move to Nashville and become a country star? :) I think more shows can be played prior to August 30th. And in the state of Illinois.
Don't forget to catch Two EB at their CD Release Party for "Carry On" Friday April 4th at the Blue Gator in Athens, OH. Come early for Nasty and Ryan Goehler and the Barefooted Bootleggers.
You guys are the sheezy, more than just a cover band, but more like a portable party. more than just a band, but a great group of guys, more than just entertainment, but an experience.
