Second Nature strives for a high-energy show with an emphasis on entertaining and interacting with the crowd. We’ve been around the club scene long enough to know what it takes to get a party started, get people on the dance floor, and keep the party going till closing time. Even during our breaks we keep the crowd dancing to the best current and classic dance tracks from our sound system while we take party pictures that we post on our website for everyone to enjoy the week after the show.
Second Nature specializes in creating a party atmosphere by covering the best party rock songs. From the beginning of our show, we play the songs that have that up-tempo beat that gets everyone's heads bobbin and feet tapping until the crowd can't help but start dancing. And by the end of the night we usually have the crowd up with us on stage helpin us party down.
We love covering those classic party rock songs that everyone remembers from AC/DC, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Cheap Trick, Poison, and Rick Springfield. We also sprinkle in some newer songs that rock from Green Day, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry and Buckcherry. Tricia covers the lead vocals for those classic female rock songs from Pat Benetar, Joan Jett, Blondie, Alanis Morissette and No Doubt.
With an average of 12 years experience playing at clubs and taverns in Kansas, Second Nature is professional in all aspects of the business of live music and crowd entertainment. We have professional sound and lighting systems able to accommodate small clubs or large outdoor events. We do our best to create the rock concert-like setting (only on a smaller scale) by using smoke and laser lights that shoot across the room from our back-light truss above our drum riser while our sound system cranks out Rusty's stomach-thumpin drums and Carlos's stage-rattlin bass underneath Bruce's screamin guitar leads, Dee's thick keyboards and our three part harmony vocals.
