Forging west-coast influenced hip-hop w/modern rock, Seconds Remaining aims to further push the musical envelope of a generation that grew up on everything. A generation that accepted rap as much as it did rock; a generation that experienced rage as much as it had a carefree attitude; a generation sick of this world's pretentious merry-go-round of modern lies. Seconds Remaining fuels a myriad of genres and a lifetime of emotions into their modern rock/rap hybrid sound. Driven by Brandon's pointed rap delivery and anchored by Hanna's powerful, angelic vocals, SR continues to pave their way into new musical territory on this hybrid front. The goal here is to see the hood rock and the rockers hop as this talented young group brings a message of freedom to a generation ready for change.
Band founder and co-lead vocalist Brandon Wickham grew up in California, eventually making his way to Washington state where he fell into a suicidal depression that lasted for years. As an angry sophomore in high school, he vowed that he would either blow up his school and murder everyone who had ever hurt him or try to find God. Fortunately, staring the finality of death in the face, Brandon chose to stay with us here on this planet and spend the rest of his life pursuing the One who created him. Over the course of time, Brandon began to give up his wicked web of destruction that he had spun over the course of his young life. Vowing to love instead of hate, give instead of steal, be real instead of being fake - the power of God totally transformed his life. Brandon went from suicidal and homicidal thoughts to a vision of taking this message of redemption to the world. He eventually moved out to Pensacola, FL and met his future wife, Hanna. They found that they both came from different backgrounds, but shared a common vision: to bring light into dark places and to bring hope to a fatherless generation through the power of music. Media has become the bridge to reach society, and it's broken state is what drives their message forward.
While in Pensacola, they met up with bassist Caleb Rappaport, and drummer Steven Fowler who shared a similar vision both musically and spiritually, then packed up and moved to Nashville, TN. While in Nashville, they released their first CD, Voice of a Lost Generation which garnered radio airplay from the local rock station, 102.9 The BUZZ as well as attention from labels & film studios. They also met their guitarist while in Nashville, Jeremiah Pasour, who has really brought the group's songwriting to a new level. They are now hard at work on their follow-up album w/4-time Grammy award-winning producer Malcolm Springer, (release date TBD)

Hey Brandon and Hannah...the Jentezen Franklin Forward '06 conference just ended and I wanted to send you an update. I wish you guys could been there...when Lauren took the stage in front of 10,000 teenagers to sing "Sorrow" by Flyleaf, she looked like she performs in front of that many people everyday and her voice was powerful! The crowd loved her and it was awesome to see her interacting with all of the people afterward as well. Your words and acts of encouragement mean so much, thanks for everything! (I had gotten very little sleep the night before, however, so when I tried to video her performance, I hit the wrong button and found out later I hadn't recorded anything, boo hoo :-(
