  • Bio

After casually jamming for a few years, the north Texas indie trio, Second Story Feedback, decided to give original music a shot and bring a more melodic sound to the metal infested Dallas Fort Worth music scene. Front man and precocious song crafter, Paul Demer, is backed up by the fraternally synchronized rhythm section of Ben and Josh Jessup. Since their formation, the band has played shows in all ages clubs, bars, churches, living rooms, synagogues, coffee houses, artist/musician co-ops and even at a snow cone stand. In the past few years, Second Story Feedback, often dubbed SSF, has independently released three CDs of original music. The two most recent releases are available on iTunes. Four-stringed tenor guitar and frequent three part vocal harmony contrasts this band's sound with all others'. These friends' commingling of unique indie rock with pop accessibility and thoughtful lyrics results in "original and melodic cognitive pop with allegorical overtones and non-conscious metaphor". Although the band strives to re-create their recorded sounds live and to present an entertaining rock show, the primary focus of live SSF is to engage with audiences of all ages and to meet new people. They hope to meet you soon!
