Sounds Like
You can probably hear echos of the Beatles and Harry Chapin ,among other artists. But we think we sound very much like ourselves...we have a versatile repertoire consisting of both original songs and cover tunes. We perform lots of classic rock and country as well as blues, folk rock, rockabilly and coffee house style music.
The Second Wind Bandits are a roots/folk/rock/blues fusion band that are at the same time storytellers, writing and performing songs that come from the heart. Their new CD "A Gift of Love" has received considerable critical acclaim... most recently on May 1,2009...here's the review: "The Second Wind Bandits are a loose group of seasoned musicians out of Rockville, Maryland.Led by founder, songwriter, and lead vocalist Bill Mulroney, these folks know a thing or two about rock-n-roll. With bassist Gary Garvin,keyboardist/guitarist John Donovan, drummer Ron Goad, and a whole host of other musicians, the Bandits have their finger firmly on the pulse of roots music.......The product of all this veteran knowledge and talent is their second CD 'A Gift of Love.' Eleven songs that encompass all the promise and excitement of rock-n-roll,with a temper of adult experience. From its first three tracks 'Stockbridge Bound', 'Baby Let's Ride,' and 'Lovers Never Rest on Sunday," you know you have a CD in your hands filled with quality songwriting........All these songs are written from the heart. The song that, for me, exemplifies this CD in part, and the mission of the band as a whole is 'The Second Half.' This is a pretty melody with optimistic lyrics that can only be written by someone with adult experiences. Included on this CD is a live cover of the classic 'Kansas City' done in the style that Leiber/Stoller intended. I'm glad the band included this track because it's not only a nod to their influences, but also a showcase for their musical chops,of which they have in abundance.......'Don't You Cry My Darlin' and the title track are worth the price of this CD themselves, but we consider this whole package to be a 'must have' for any serious music lover." I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks

In the tunnels of that twisted wood, whose low prodigious oaks twine groping boughs and shine dim with the phosphorescence of strange fungi, dwell the furtive and secretive zoogs; who know many obscure secrets of the dream-world and a few of the waking world...
Thanks for the add! I used to hang in that area. I remember years ago cutting across a graveyard to get from the Metro station to the bus. What a surprise when I stumbled across F. Scott Fitzgerald's grave just fifty yards or so from Rockville Pike!
