Music
I have a lot of bands that i love and i am always going to gigs or listening to music, or playing drums/bass/guitar. I also write reviews for an online music magazine called plus one music magazine. The address www.plusonemagazine.moonfruit.com
I try and listen to as much stuff as possible and i never say no to any music, i give it a go first then make up my mind.
At the moment my favourite bands are:
Feeder, Foo Fighters, The Klaxons, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Rocks, Scott Matthews, The Rakes, Maximo Park, Rage Against The Machine, The Jubilees, The Killers, Hot Club De Paris, Jeff Buckely, The PIxies and many many more that i do not have the time to write out.
Movies
I love movies and i have quite a large collection, but favourite film ever is probably memento or school of rock! I love all sorts of films fom arthouse right down to a cheesy family blockbuster
Television
I love family guy and american dad, house, waking the dead, CSI, NCIS, the O.C., bones and other stuff like that! NEIGHBOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY HAROLD, never mind the buzzcocks, lead balloon, soccer am and other such brilliant programmes.
Books
1984 is a book i absolutely love, and i think it is amazing. I really like the author Val McDermid, her detective stories are darker and quirkier than most and i like her style. Also i like Artemis Fowl, it is much better than ye olde Harry Potter!
Heroes
Jeff Buckley, Dave Grohl, Steve Irwin, Taylor Hawkins, Chad Smith and Lawrence of Hartlepool. He is living proof that you should not be afraid to be different!

Ok so here we are on myspace and the section is called about me, so here is some stuff... about me.
I am 19 years of age.
I come from a small market town called sleaford in lincolnshire and i am one of three kids. I love sleaford, even though i often say i don't. There is nothing like getting off the train at the station there and being reminded of all the great times i have had there over the years.
I am currently residing uni halls of residence in clifton near nottingham. Its strange living with complete strangers at first, but now most of them are like family to me.
I play drums, guitar and bass and i am hoping to take up keyboards in the future. I love music and without i would steadily go insane.
I like watching and discussing film. I have an a-level in film studies, and often annoy people when they are tryin to watch a movie, it gives me joy.
I love my family. My mum Mary, my dad Chris, my brothers Steven, Richard and Mike and my sisters Suzie, and Anna. These people mean more to me than anything in the world, even if i don't always show that to them.
I love my friends: Kez, Hannah, Sweave, Bolton, Beki, Andy, Leroy, Ellie, Harry, Polly, Ben, Dave, Jo... i'm sorry i can't name you all, you but you all know who you are and i make thanks for every day i get to spend on earth with great people like you.

Last but not least, i love university. I am currently studying for BSc in Forensic Science, and although it is hard work i love every minute of it. Anything else just ask me...
Who I'd like to meet: I love meeting all sorts of people, but i especially like to meet like minded people and muscians with real talent.
I write for an online music magazine and by doing this i get to meet lots of these sort of people and get to hear some great new music at the same time
