After two great years of playing Rory Galagher's music at venues all over Britain and on the continent, I have chosen this time close the book on Secret Agent.
In reality, due mainly to logistical problems, we have not actually 'booked' a gig since last summer, rather we have continued to play those shows to which we were already committed and also accepted invitations for tribute festivals.
On behalf of Tim, Mark and myself, I would like to thank everybody who has helped us, invited us to play and made us feel very welcome everywhere we have gone. We have had a fantastic time, played with great musicians from all over Europe at some truly brilliant venues.
Another reason for choosing this moment to anounce the end of SA is that the release of my first original album is now imminent, and I must now work purely on that project for the time being to give it any chance of success. Will Secret Agent ever ride again? Never say never. I'm sure that the right opportunity will present itself one day....
We still also have one last gig, on the Ferry in Glasgow with Defender, Dave McHugh and many others on September 19th. I hope to see many of you there, the Glasgow gig seems the perfect setting for one last great night.
Please continue to support the great Rory Gallagher tributes that are held all over Europe and the US, and all the bands that work so hard to make them happen.

hows it goin lads. met your bassist on sunday nite at Dave McHughs gig in Sean Ogs. Dave, the nice guy that he is, invited us up to have a go at laundromat!
