In association with Indent Music NSW , Big Apachee & SURFEST , The Loft Youth Venue is holding a band comp on Friday February 22nd 2008.
The Competition is open to live bands playing original music only. Preference will be given to high school aged bands with the majority of members aged 18 years or under , however we will accept entries from bands who have members aged up to 25 years.
6 bands will be selected for the competiton final .
The winner will receive a PAID support slot on the huge All-Ages Surfest Concert to be held at Newcastle Panthers on Saturday 29th March.
Winners & runners up will receive prizes from Big Apachee , Bigtix & The Loft Youth Venue.
We require at least one member of each band to be a current Loft Youth Venue Member. Cost is $17 per year.

Um maybe not the best .. but i would do anything to help your organisation or any other organisation that organises chances for local band to be heard. especially since lots of bands are metal hardcore or " emo " ( as most people classify them) and today mainstream pop or annoying Rap music seems to be every where, its kinda scary LOLOL, well ill help any time (L)
