Secret of Steel

Bio:

In 1998 “Planet of Mulk” members Bart, Danny and Iwan decide to start a second band. The band was called “Bewithered and it was supposed to be a death/thrash band. Half a year later, the band dissolved because they couldn’t find a drummer. Around the same time, Ronald’s band “Inimical” also stopped.

In 1999, “Planet of Mulk” also stopped, so they were all without a band. Until Bart and Ronald got to know eachother at work and decided to form a band again with the other “Bewithered” members. This time as a heavy metal band.

For a while the band was called “Dirk Döhner and the Seven Goomba's" but after that, was renamed to “SexXxoR”. In this line-up, they played from 2000 to 2003. Due to lack of serious rehearsing, they cancelled their rehearsalplace. For some time, they composed their music at home but eventually decided to stop.

In 2006, after three years of rest, the band was revived and has found a new rehearsalplace. The band was renamed to “Secret of Steel” in 2007. And around the same time, Gilian joined the band. A year later, Andries completed the band. But unfortunately, in 2009 Danny leaves the band. Luckily he was soon replaced by Dirk. Later that year, Andries also leaves the band. In March 2010, Melvin becomes our new singer.

Until today, the band is busy composing and recording with their multi-track recorder. Their current goal is to record a demo-cd in the near future and to do some live-performances.
