Synopsis

Secrets Kept is about the power of true love and how it transforms into everlasting love. The film is a romantic psychological thriller about a mother’s struggles to prove her daughter’s innocent of a murder and the hardships she faces to keep her family from falling apart.

Secrets Kept tells the story of how only true love transforms into everlasting love. It portrays a family, the Masters, who move into a luxurious house in an upscale neighborhood. After they move in, strange things start to befall them, but they refuse to be force out of their new home. Sweet Master, the daughter, is raped in the house and the attacker is killed by unknown ghost. Josephine Master, the mother, finds out her house is haunted by a woman butchered to death 30 years ago. She is determined to save her family from destruction and helps put the ghost's soul to rest. After solving the ghost's murder, she still cannot understand why the ghost, Cass, is still haunting the house. Josephine investigates the ghost's life and finds out her husband, William, is still alive and is in an asylum. Her desire to expose a neighborhood's conspiracy of a brutal murder long ago will restore her family's sanity and reunite two lost lovers.

The Masters move into a new home and neighborhood. Sweet Master starts her first day at a new High School, Josephine Master starts her new teaching job, and Blake Master is working at a new hospital. Sweet is raped by a school mate in her house and the boy is murdered by an unknown ghost. The police investigate the murder of the boy and does not believe Sweet's story of flying knives. Josephine and Blake are in conflict of their daughter's story, so she starts her quest to prove her daughter’s innocent.

Josephine and Sweet experiences Cass, the ghost, presences in the house. Blake is having trouble dealing with his daughter's rape and cannot believe the occurrences to be supernatural. Josephine investigates in Cass's life and murder, which leads her to Cass's husband William. William is in a mental asylum still trying to cope with his wife's death. Josephine confronts William about his wife but William is in denial.

Josephine throws a party and discovers the murderer of Cass. After solving the murder, Cass is still haunting the house. Josephine can not understand why and figures out that Cass needs to be reunited with William before she can continue onto the after life. Josephine finally convinces William that Cass is calling for him, therefore William must kill himself, so the two lovers can fade into the afterlife together.
