With over a dozen shows under our belt and stops in Birmingham, AL and South Burlington, VT, it was very surprising to realize that we had not hit up the Windy City. Well, as they say, better late than never and boy did we bring Chi-Town a treat! The 350 people in front of the Lakeshore Theater were not waiting to get into a taping of Oprah… they were all there to see one man, and one man only…the outrageously funny, Brian Posehn.

Living up to his metal-head persona, a light show wowed the audience right before Brian took the stage. With jokes about an angry chimp, commentary on the movie “The Departed,” and a rant about fighting with friends when he was a kid, Brian had the audience’s jaws sore from laughter even before the night was over.

A big Thank You and a kiss on the cheek for all of those that came out to our first ever Chicago show! And special thanks to John Roy and Brian Posehn for their great performances, to the Lakeshore Theater for the lovely atmosphere and of course, to Toyota Corolla for making this and every other show not only possible but also FREE!!!

"The Kids in the Hall,” the watershed comedy troupe of the 1990's, are returning to their live-performance roots for a major North American theater tour in 2008. The tour kicked off on April 4, 2008, and will include approximately 40 cities in the US and Canada. The 2008 tour, titled “Live As We’ll Ever Be”, represents a new era in the troupe’s collaboration, and is comprised of completely fresh material which simultaneously reflects who they are now and their patently off-kilter take on ordinary life. If you can’t join us for this show, they will also be performing at the Grove in Anaheim on May 8th and at the Orpheum Theater in LA on May 9th.
