Though thunderstorms pounded the Southern US, they did not stop MySpacers from traveling hours in every direction to see Patton Oswalt. The 350+ in attendance packed into the tiny club and helped raise money for Hope for the Warriors. Fans began showing up as much as four hours before show time, and by nightfall Secret Standup had brought in the largest audience the Bottletree had ever seen. The day's sweltering heat was quickly washed away by the contagious energy of the pumped-up MySpace crowd. For 90 minutes, the Patton kept the crowd engaged with his free-flowing style, touching on subjects like the KFC bowl, Cirque du Soleil and the crazy fans at Comic-Con. A true entertainer, Oswalt showed his appreciation for his fans by capping the night off with a lengthy photo and autograph session for the MySpace audience.
