Secret Tenerife was set up to help those odd people who want to find out about the real Tenerife, way beyond the brochures and concrete resorts. For us that includes natural attractions, such as Mount Teide, the Anaga or Teno mountains, forests, etc., as well as the architecture of towns such as Garachico, La Orotava and La Laguna. It also encompasses local tradition and fiestas, as well as entertainments and night spots that real people go to. In short, anything that is not just "put on for the tourists" and that represents the "real life" of this island - something which the British media often seems to think it doesn't have!
