The ripples engage my mind. We are here, together in a perfect stop. In this stop, am I too far ahead or too far behind? We know it is time to know, but we fear what we do not understand. So bubble gum pop, borrowed money and dreams on feather pillows are more important the than Word. What Is the Wyrd? Is it in your breathe? It is in all you speak, from every insignificant notion to all your elaborate fantasies. It is the very natural thing you always knew you were good at: must be God's special gift to you. It was always natural. And afflictions are natural. A blind person senses more than I yet we call him disabled. It is the essence of you and I. It is all you knew you could be but never became. Am I too much for this modern day cover up? Am I inconveniently placed? A drag at parties, who wants to talk about the very things that make us tick, ticking along to a calendar we've decided works for the sake of not having to change. It's easier to stay the same. But we HAVE changed. Talent is what you are born into and grace is elitism. Afterall, you were born in a blessed space (compared to the starving and afflicted); you could have been born in India, suffering, rather than in Asheville, hopeful. Therefore, you must be blessed and have a higher purpose than those less fortunate. No, it is not fortune to the elite, it is divine right. It gives a feeling of being more special than the rest. It makes sense of this senseless exsistence. Those that believe we are the only creatures exsisting in space belive this for the sake of mental preservation. If we are not alone, then maybe we are not so special in the grand scheme of things. Entire religions will crumble once alien life is proven. Forget about some lost scrolls that will tear down the most ingenious cult that ever exsisted. Forget about our struggles over whether or not hell exists, whose religion is the true path to a perfect afterlife or what God's true name may be. Once we prove that E.T. is real, all will fall apart in order for us to come together. Right now, it is another end of times. We hang tightly on the end of days. Some of us hoping it will happen sooner than later. 2012 is only a few years away. Will we float for three days on the arc, return to earth innocent again? Will the Pleadians come down from the stars to teach us again about space travel? Will angels wage a jealous war against humanity because God loves us so? Will we all suffocate on bad air and garbage before we can create a solution for global warming. This we know: As long as we are lambs to the media, as long as we turn our cheeks to strangers at parties who like to push your buttons and talk about the very things you fear the most, as long as we fear what we do not understand, wars will continue, nothing will happen and we will still grapple at religion to give us meaning and live off the perfect alibi.
