Section 4? We're rad, but you haven't heard of us. Section 4 has played several Chicago stages, and we mean to play more stages, more frequently. Constantly compared to Beth Gibbons from Portishead, Romero's voice is insane. We've got fans. Our fans drink. We will bring our fans. They will drink. Let us play. Let us play. Let us play (so say the people).
I really like the new stuff! Instrumentals sound awesome especially on the law and For Now, and of course Serena's voice is mind blowing as always. All of it just flows together and compliments eachother very nicely. :)
Hopefully see you guys at thanksgiving or christmas this year :)
Chicago Acoustic Underground is proud to announce the posting of Episode 153 - Section 4. You can download free and listen at www. chicagoacoustic. net, or you can subscribe for free on iTunes in the Podcast section.
Serena and the boys rocked the studio. You must go see them live at Reggie's Rock Club 2109 S. State St., Chicago, IL 60616 on October 9, 2008. CAU will be there and so should you!!!

The Chicago Music Commission has posted a survey form on their site and will be presenting all comments received by 5pm on Friday, May 23, to Mayor Daley and the City Council.
hey, we've got a show coming up at Double door (may 30) in Chicago and one at Liquor Sweets (may 31) in Milwaukee! So, which ever one is closer to you, come on out, and be sure to hang out with us at the merch booth after the set!! Both are 21+ and you can get the address from our "Shows" section
Musicians, actors, artists, and those who love culture, be afraid. Chicago's trying to pass an ordinance that will basically shut down ALL venues smaller than 500+ seating. Anyone promoting entertainment will be required to get a promoter's license and liability insurance, which the venues already have.
This doesn't just affect Chicago acts. Anyone looking to perform in the third largest market will have to get this license. Where will you play? Where will you perform? Where will you experience entertainment in any form?
Chicago Acoustic Underground and I have set up an online petition. The city council is voting on this Wednesday, so visit now and leave a comment to sign this petition.
