About me:

This exciting annual event is presented by the Seddon Community Group. See this year's fun at www.seddonmusic09.8m.net.

We waded thru the '09 SedFest or what was left of it when the rain had it's way!! SedFest 2010 is on Sat. 27th February, planning starts mid September..

Every since we kicked off the Seddon Festival in the Park MySpace site, there’s been a lot of interest from artists who may wish to be involved in upcoming festivals. To avoid possible misunderstandings or “dummy-spits”, here’s a rough guide to our selection criteria that’s developed in more recent times.

These days we meet more potential performers than time available on the day. In random order, our loose selection criteria is something like this……
- local / Western Suburbs based; this of course can be waived for the REALLY famous!
- a mixture of established and unknown performers
- varied genre
- gender balance where possible
- one or more acts from previous year

    I am back in Melbourne on Wednesday night for a very special performance with the immortal Victoria Williams.  We are playing The Empress Hotel in Fitzroy.  It starts at 8:00pm.  So come on down and spend an evening with us before Victoria bids Australia a reluctant fare-the-well and heads back home to the beautiful expanse of the Californian desert …

    24 hours of Power
    "Together we have the power to make a difference"

    The Yarraville Arts Festival with the City of Maribyrnong will stage a 24 hour tribute
    to help provide some form of relief, during a time of mass devastation.

    The tribute will be staged as part of the Yarraville Arts Festival, from 8pm this Friday 13th till 8pm Saturday 14th.
    We will stream live for 24 hours over the internet to appeal to the millions of people around the world, and rally their support.
