I'm also a big fan of the great outdoors, I enjoy camping, the beach, parks, playing badminton, frisbee, etc.

(Note: Many of these artists have myspace pages, so look for them if you like them!)
Movies
Super High Me, No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood, Network, Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Ferris Beueller's Day Off, What the (Bleep) Do We Know?, Hitchiker's Guide to The Galaxy, Sin City, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, 300, Full Metal Jacket, Dumb and Dumber, Blazing Saddles, Rear Window, Lost Highway, Children of Men, Pineapple Express, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Watchmen, and many others.
Television
No more TV! I've got no further patience for the idiot box, or the slime that comes out of it. There better be something informative oozing out of it for me to want to watch. Adult Swim is still the spot, but these days my TV gathers dust. I do have a thing for animes, Cowboy Beobop and Wolf's Rain are among my favorites, along with Lupin III, Fooly Cooly, Big O, Samurai Champloo, and Trigun. Saul of The Mole Men, Fat Guy Stuck in Internet, and Frisky Dingo are also great.
Books
What books do I like? Hmmm... the ones I write (I'm a writer, it's what I do) and the ones I have time to read, if I've got any to spare. Currently on this writer's block: American Psycho (Bret Easton Ellis), Cowboy Bebop Manga vol. 1 (Yutaka Nanten & Hajime Yatate), Black Coffee Blues (Henry Rollins), Quantum Physics: Illusion or Reality (Alastair Rae), Brave New World (Adius Huxley), The Manual of Close Up Photography (Lester Lefkowitz), Great Action Photography (Bryn Campbell), Creative Photographic Effects Simplified (Paul Duckworth), Beloved Son: A Story of the Jesus Cults (Steve Allen, yeah I know, WTF? Steve Allen?!), and The Book of Photography (John Hedgecoe- a very comprehensive read on how to use cameras, learn how to really see, and become more creative), and The Great Gatsby (F. Scott Fitzgerald).
Heroes
People that can't be bought or sold and realize that integrity is worth more than gold. Paul Newman, Yoshitaka Amano, James Dean, Bruce Lee, John Lennon, The Insultabot, Tenacious D, Barry and Gary, the bounty hunter Chains, etc. Anyone that doesn't bow to Consumerism, it's what's turning people into sheep whose only goal is more stuff and more money, perhaps in America more than anywhere else. People like that are empty and really have nothing to offer anyone, they are sort of the anti-hero in my life. That and people that just love to dish out the hate. Life's too short to be burned out by the fury of one's own heart.
"Hate is easy, love is hard"- remember that folks, those words have more truth to them than many people care to see.

Hello, I'm Abe Lambright. Nice to meet you. Just in case you were wondering, I'm not a superstar, I'm no virtuoso on guitar, and in my life I haven't traveled very far. But I'm fun, talented, work hard, I dance, and skate, isn't that great? But of course, the most important thing I do is art- I photograph, draw, write books and all that business. I have a website that features all this at http://sites.google.com/site/abelambright . Check it out and enjoy!
Surfing concrete, Lambro style.
My boards, the Lambro drop deck and the Lambroghini banana deck.
For all you types addicted to reading out there, I have a novel ready for advance distribution (meaning you might get a copy if you ask me real nice):
"HOPE WITHIN PANDORA'S BOX" - it's one hell of a war romance epic set in the near future about a young woman named Deneb and those that try to understand her role in the world that slips into a full blown world war around her. It's a story of human potential and human nature being used as the most devastating weapon mankind has ever had the misfortune to face, it is intense, it is dramatic, it is emotional, it does not let go, it will be controversial (you can hold me to this expectation) and it is not for children to read! I'm not done with the rest- there are three more to go with it on the way, people are reading it, people are enjoying it, and hopefully it gets published and takes off someday. I do the art for it as well (see the character portraits below my photo art farther down the page),
and many friends of mine helped me with it in various ways, I couldn't have made as good of a book without them. Production continues on its sequel, "LOST IN THE DESPERATE HOUR", set near the close of the 21st century at the peak of a bitter world war without restraint for its own fury, and might just be the best work I've ever done once its finished. Which could take a while, but hey, I'm only one guy doing all this stuff!
Also, I'm on the lookout for friends of mine from Salem that I knew in High School from several years ago. If you know me from then, get around to contacting me! Each of the novels in my epic saga has a content based intermission, and in the first book for example, there's a lot of blank spaces for names to be filled, and unfortunately I remember faces better than I ever manage with names.
Here's my gallery section, as hosted from DeviantART, with new art being uploaded as I have the time to do so. These works so far define my style, my expression, my vision, even my page, and I have a history of drawing and writing back all the way into the early '90s that might even end up here someday- truth be told I've only been messing with photography for two years now, it's only been within the last year that I've made anything worth showing. Comment on whatever you see on the page if you feel the urge and enjoy.
Just remember, all content (c) 2000-2009 Abe Lambright (not the videos or music, those are all external properties of their own respective owners, I just like it seen and heard here because all of it is awesome and should be shared among the masses for all to enjoy). Please don't steal my stuff, at least not 'till I'm a miserable famous SOB. I'm all about spreading it around for all to experience, but I don't condone using others' work for profit when I myself have yet to make a dime off any of mine.
Prints of various sizes up to 20x30" poster size will be available for the breadth of my work soon through DeviantART. If you are interested in larger (mural size 36x24"-60x40"), premium gallery type prints, I will be custom printing on premium stock with the option of including framing and glass. Any image you see here or at my DeviantART page will be available for printing soon. If you'd like me to offer free prints for the purpose of charity sales and auctions, I'm all about that, it helps get my work out there, and helps good causes, which is worth every penny and then some. Please contact me for any other questions you may have, thanks!
Who I'd like to meet:
Her! ...But hey, we've already met.
Who is she?
Someone electric.
Someone bold.
Someone that sets my soul on fire.
Someone that loves to laugh.
Someone that shreds.
Someone that takes care of herself.
Someone that has personality.
Someone that is artistic.
Someone that speaks her mind.
Someone that loves life, and loves to cut loose.
My love is all those things and more<3
So really, who would I like to meet?
Essentially, I seek other skilled artists, photographers, writers, people that put a real passion into their art (you folks are amazing), to the people that are interested in what I do, and even my old friends from high school or what's left of them.
I really like meeting new people wherever I may be, or whatever I might be doing. If you want to chat with me, call or find me on Windows Live (MSN) Messenger at abesteroni@gmail.com, but sooner or later I should be on Skype. Or you can always throw me your digits.
Comments? Please keep it short and simple, and if it's a personal message send it to my inbox instead, thanks!
I don't even know where to go to read status updates. But then again, I'm not on myspace a whole lot. Glad you're still kicking around, anyway. :D College sucks. That's all I have to say about Idaho right now.
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I came across some stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, the fundamentals are still relevant today.

Wow you still haven't posted wedding pictures. its amazing how much you procrastinate. you missed a rocking street dogs show on tuesday. other than that how's life? where are you?
Oh really? What's been exciting!? Usually you say there's nothing going on. Everything's doing okay here. I'm at college now and just trying to keep my nose above the water with school and finances. It'll get better, I just can't wait until it does. Hehe.
