-SEED- established in 1998 as an artist collective with the goal of "planting art into the community." The original members had a vision of creating an open "free thought" space where the presentation of art and expression was and still is the primary objective.
The members came up with the name after someone mentioned that the original building was originally a seed warehouse. The diverse mission and the organic format of our programming is a direct extension of the personalities of our members.
