Seeds Of Sorrow (si:ds of 'sorrou) was founded in summer 1994 by Sigurd Krieger (guitar) and others as they decided to start a new thing and to change their boring but excessive lives. During the following years numerous members joined and left the band, but some of them have kept up until now. Their musical style has changed over the years from doom to melodic / swedish death metal until it finally achieved the fields of death metal.
In the course of the last record in summer 2003 the sound became more melodic groovy, straight and tight, but not at the expense of the technical level. Numberless shows gave us the opportunity to support acts like Slayer, Motörhead, Cannibal Corpse, Testament, Obituary, Vader, Sinister, Overkill, Sodom, God Dethroned and to rumble on several huge festivals throughout Europe- Donauinselfest in Vienna (the biggest music festival in Europe), Freeparty Vienna (audience: more than 150.000 people!), Nuclear Storm Festival (CZ), Rock in Allhau (A), Monsters of Metal (opening for Slayer etc.), Fuck the Commerce (D), Brutal Assault (CZ), etc.
In these years of hard work, a fast growing fanbase appeared in Austria and all over Europe. Now we present us with a completely new face and are proud to welcome three new musicians that brought up fresh blood, inspiration and tons of new influences. Again our musical style changed to a fancy but also faster, brutal but still technical death metal.
