We all want to have our original unique sound but if you want to compare me I hope that you compare me to some of my influences. I've been compared to artists whose names I cannot spell or pronounce. I like that because it tells me that there is a universal or world beat to my music.
Her spirit is as ethereal, impulsive, and playful as the music she creates. Seeji composes the vibes and energy that one usually hears swirling up from underground clubs in big cities, beckoning dreamers and cynics alike to let themselves go.
My music represents what I feel is our spirits need for freedom, Seeji says, and it helps me find my own freedom as well. I get to release the music I hear in my head, heart, and spirit. The results are in the response. While few of her many fans can categorize her sound, they flood message boards with rave reviews at Radio IV, Planet Pulse, and Indie-Music.com (where Seeji's been racking up Top 10 and Number One singles from her debut CD Neon). One listener called her techno/dance/ambient work a mini-electronic symphony. Another wrote, happy hopeful vibes, icey chilly delivery, quite the plastik groove, cool filtered tones and textures, lovely happiness!
Trippy and experimental, with keyboards that are dreamy one moment and chaotic the next, Seeji mixes all electronic possibilities with her unabashed love of 80s synth-pop. (She lists albums by the Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, and Erasure among her favorites.) In tracks like For Stuart, one can imagine a frenzied deejay racing from one computer screen to the next, pausing to chug from a can of Red Bull. In others like Freedom Is, the listener wanders through an electric forest, where the air snaps and sparks with excitement.
No matter what environment is summoned by the sound, that sound is expansive, infectious, and impossible to resist.
Add mysterious as well. Seeji adds her own air of mystery to the electronic vibe by refusing to divulge much about her personal life. The clues emerge in her music. The Asian influence in many of her sampled sounds reveals her half-Japanese heritage, something she couldn't hide if she wanted to. I didn't even know the music had an Asian sound until others told me, she laughs. I've unwittingly been influenced by that part of my upbringing. She is more forthcoming about her beliefs. Buddhism is very important to me, along with how we treat each other and our environment. Her way of treating others well includes building an artistic community across the globe. While working on her own music, she has created online radio stations and indie support websites.
The independent and underground music scene is thriving with excellent talent. I hope to share these talented artists with other listeners and give the artists a forum to play their music, she says enthusiastically.
Seeji is currently promoting Neon and planning a live show that combines both music and imagery. Such plans are keeping her rooted in the real world for a while. For those who prefer to stay in the world she creates through her sound, Seeji is an alluring, unforgettable muse.

Seeji is an independent female artist. "I use sounds & music to express & share my love for life. My music usually represents what I feel is our spirit's need for freedom. When our spirit has the feeling of being free, we are able to lead a better quality life. Some people do not have this simple basic right and luxury. For some, they are robbed of this simple basic right such as freedom and spirit by oppression, sex slave trade, abuse...any type of oppression brought on to the mind, body and spirit by an external source/force.
Illness such as AIDS robs the spirit and my hope is that we are all reminded of how alive we feel when our spirits are free and how others must feel not having this basic simple right. This belief carries over into our enviroment, wildlife and oceans.
Each and every one of us should have the right to coexist without threat to our natural habitat or the little space we do have on this planet. The mere thought of being robbed of my freedom or spirit is almost unimaginable .
I am fortunate to enjoy life and the simple ways music can make me/us feel better.
I hope my music helps in bringing a warm smile to the face of anyone who listens to it. My hope is the listener will feel alive and REALLY at peace. At peace & at home in that very moment! A bit corny maybe but I think most artists would like to make that connection and have others take something positive away from their music or any art for that matter.
I love techno and ambient because they make such powerful & positive music!"

Hi friends, finally, it's done...the brandnew track of "reminder" in collaboration with "Rapha" is released today. The track "Beyound the Clouds" fascinates with a fantastic, classic melody, which has been well reproduced in all remixes.
