Sounds Like
Classy, soulful, pop with an edge. Good tunes, good times!
Depending on who you speak to Jen sounds like Norah Jones, India Arie, the Irish one from Girls Aloud or various singers from Zero7!
Let us know what you reckon :)

Ok, Jen had a cold and couldn't really hear herself, so be kind!!
Keep an eye out for Seeker at festivals this year! Currently booked to play Beachdown Aug 28th-30th, Redfest 24th-25th July, Paddle Round the Pier 5th-6th July, Monmouth Festival supporting The Hamsters (1st Aug) and many more still to be confirmed!
Seeker are an exciting Soul-Pop band with attitude. Based in Brighton, UK, they are fronted by Jen Jarvis, who’s soulful vocals have been likened to that of Norah Jones and India Arie.
Seeker play a unique blend of Soul and Pop with a good measure of attitude. The band started back in 2002 and have developed their unique sound as they have experimented with new sounds and technology, successfully merging well written pop songs with solid grooves and ear catching instrumentation. They’ve had a huge amount of positive feedback from fans, fellow musicians, venues and promoters, saying that they love the sound, and that there’s nothing quite like it out there at the moment, not least because of the 9 piece line up, including brass, rhodes and excellent backing vocals.
The band are getting more and more opportunities from various people in the industry including requests for songs to be included on compilation albums, interest from independent film makers and remix offers from London and Brighton based DJs. The band have played a wide variety of venues around the UK, including the Komedia, Brighton, the Halo Bar, London (event run by Michelle Escofrey and previously graced by Corinne Bailey Rae and Nate James), the Orange Rooms, Southampton (previously played by Alice Russell, Morcheeba & Giles Peterson). If the band keep going at this rate, they have the potential to be a huge success not only in the UK, but worldwide.
“Their song 'colours' is as bright as the name suggests - it's definitely one I could imagine hearing on the radio. It has a smooth and floaty melody with soft lyrics that emphasize the rhythm, just a beautiful song. i have and would book them again for any gig as the audience always loves them and people always talk about Jen's beautiful voice”
Ele Berrie - Producer, Absolute Internet TV
“Brighton is a hotbed of young soul talent and no band flies the pop/soul crossover banner better than Seeker, characterised by the distictive, accomplished vocal of Jen Jarvis''
Mark Ede - Presenter/Promoter
’’This band exudes class. Play them anywhere and anytime to capture the hazy, good feelings of sunny days.’’ Tilting Sky Magazine
