About Marie Tueje

A bit of spiel...

Marie Tueje is a pop singer, songwriter and guitarist from London, England. Catchy and memorable, her repertoire of songs has drawn comparisons to Aimee Mann, Thea Gilmore and Liz Phair.

A multi-instrumentalist, arranger and producer, she has played in venues ranging from the intimate and chic (Troubadour, London and Joe’s Pub, NYC), to the raucous and legendary (Bitter End, NYC and Hammersmith Palais, London).

Marie self-released a 6-track EP, In The Back Room in August 2007, and is currently writing new material, which she will be previewing at a selection of live dates in 2008.

She is also a member of electro-glam-rock trio Angels With Whips.

Helen's Evil Twin	Feb 29 2008 4:02 PM Yeah - well done to you too. I've enjoyed it, but it's quite a relief to be finished. I think I need to do more collaborative writing throughout the year. I've gotten quite a taste for it. Now I just have to see which songs the rest of the band wants to do. Taylor and I have played "Circus Side Show Freak" a few times (in fact, we performed it on the day it was written), but the others are but ideas.
