About Seeking Silence R.I.P.

This isn't your ordinary high school rock band. Wild guitars, heavy drums and screaming vocals – this is what Seeking Silence is all about.

The group started with their first official gig at a special service at Cornerstone Christian Church in Duncannon. After only working together for three months, Seeking Silence headed to Seventh Wave Studio in the fall of 2007 and laid down two original tracks.

Just a few months later, Seeking Silence was playing across Central Pennsylvania, placing in the top two in several talent competitions. The group has also played at area venues such as the Facktory and the Championship, opening for bands such as I am Terrified and Safari So Good. In addition, their track “Suffering the Storm” will be featured on the upcoming United by Grace compilation CD and available on iTunes.

Seeking Silence headed to Championship in the Fall of 2008 to record live tracks for their upcoming EP release, featuring “Sounds Like It's Hungry” and “Suffering the Storm.”

With their dynamic sound, unique personality and personal lyrics, Seeking Silence is turning heads every where they go.

Although we have gone our seperate ways, we plan to keep up the myspace and our songs for anyone to enjoy! The members have now gone on to create their own bands "The Third Triumvirate" and "Set On Static". Be sure to check them out!
