About Desperately Seeking Susans Official MySpace page
Desperately Seeking Susan is a quirky love story set in New York City's vibrant Lower East Side and driven by the pulsating energy of classic Blondie songs. Based on the hit 1980's movie, this new musical is a whirlwind fairytale of mistaken identity, magic shows and rock 'n' roll.
Featuring all the best-loved Blondie tracks, including CALL ME, HEART OF GLASS, RAPTURE, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, SUNDAY GIRL, ATOMIC, THE TIDE IS HIGH, DREAMING and HANGING ON THE TELEPHONE, the production will also introduce MOMENT OF TRUTH, a new song by Deborah Harry written especially for this feel-good romantic comedy musical.
* Excludes Saturday evenings and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Valid for performances up to and including 22 December 2007. A £1.50 booking fee applies per ticket.
I stumbled upon Emma Williams on Elaine Paige's Radio 2 show on Sunday. I'm just 'listening again' on the website. If you want to hear it go to http://www. bbc. co. uk/radio2/shows/paige/ and select 'listen again'. (I think it'll be online for a week.)
to all involved in the show. I hope you all have a wonderful festive break and that 2008 brings as rewarding and enjoyable work as 2007 did. Like Buffalo, "You rock!". ;-)
So glad I got to see the show when I did - last month on my London vacation. I think you otta consider moving the show to Vegas - it'd be perfect for one of our 100 minute musical spectaculars..... :-)
Happy & 'Atomic' Holidays to ALL the original cast, crew etc!! Shame you got closed so quickly!! Missing the show already!! :( (Will there be a tour!)?? Keep The Faith! x
Mixed emotions here... soooooooo looking forward to coming again on Thursday night (and hopefully getting to meet Peter etc), and on Saturday for the last time, but so sad that it'll be over.... FOR NOW!!! The original DSS film advert from Jimmy says 'Keep the faith' and that's what I'm doing - I believe in the show with all my heart! :-)
