About me: I first got into photography about twenty years ago always having a love of music I focus most of my attention on live bands.
I try to without any false lighting or flash but try to capture the moment using what light is available at the time looking for colours, shapes angles are all important even with Black and White photography.
Have just purchased a canon 400D my fist digital SLR. My aim is to be the best photographer I can be and get my work to a wider audience.
Who I'd like to meet: creative artistic people for networking
It's taken about nine months but we've finally posted a live demo version of "Lay Low" on our MySpace.
"Lay Low" song lyrics, were of course inspired by this photograph of yours.
We performed ‘Lay Low’ publicly for the first time at The Third Annual Belvoir Castle Folk Festival on 17th May 2008. It was weekend of great folk music to suit every taste performed in a variety of fairytale settings within the Castle and grounds.
Hey Robert, thanks for the request. Great to add ya. If you're ever in Notts and have time to take some live shots of one of my gigs it would be greatly appreciated! Have a lovely weekend. Lisa x

Some friends at uni have organised a ball to help me raise funds for a china trek that i am taking part in for a local charity.
I was wondering (with fingers crossed on both hands!!)if you could assist in anyway on the night through your photograpy.
please pop over to my other myspace at myspace. com/joannekarim to find out more about it. My messaging is a bit temperamental on myspace... hence me having to post a comment instead!!
If you think you could possibly help in any way you id be gratefull if you could contact me at joannekarim@yahoo.co.uk.
'Lay Low' - written and composed by Joe Beagle performed by Cute Baby Monster
As dark as the soul who'd rob a crypt at midnight stand thin young trees with lifeless limbs silhouetted by the brilliant beaming sunlight in which the forest swims.
Storming clouds of brittle rusty-coloured dead fern fill the silent forest's floor. A ghostly mist fades away into the distance. A new day begins, once more.
Cast in an arc, the seeds of daylight look like the roaring surf on breaking waves, waves that crash and splash feet of invading soldiers and a land of undug graves.
With rhetoric and holy incantation the spell of war's been cast again. War paid for by those left behind with unjust taxes, and the lives of simple men.
The world can't see these innocent imprisoned wretches caged and lain on bloodied straw buried deep within the darkest dungeon for the crime of being poor.
Their comrades flee this misery and persecution while the world looks overseas hopeless souls mingle with the ghosts of freedom to lay low among the trees
