Sounds Like
Bio:
Starting as a reunion of childhood friends Eric Zirlinger (vocals,
guitar, keyboard), Wayne Silver (lead guitar), and Michael Denton
(drums), SEER officially formed in late 2003 with the addition of Paul
Komsic (bass). The band developed their sound quickly, and by mid-2004
SEER had released their self-titled EP and their powerful live show had
built them a following in their native Long Island.
SEER released their debut full-length album, 2020, in March 2006. In a style that is distinctly SEER’s, 2020
showcases a sound that is both beautiful and evocative, drawing from
grandiose arena rock, inspired by the likes of Radiohead, Coldplay,
Tool, Pink Floyd and Jeff Buckley. Relying heavily on texture over
their musicianship, SEER creates an ambient sound over an alternative
rock foundation. 2020 helped the band make a mark on the
New York music scene. That buzz has gained them attention in the
industry, allowing them the opportunities to open up for national acts
such as Days of the New, Eisley, The Sleeping, Simon Dawes, Brighten,
Rev Theory, Uncrowned, and Vaeda.
In January 2007, determined to get their music to a broader audience,
SEER began a whirlwind four-month tour across the U.S., performing in
over 20 states, including playing at South By Southwest, in Austin, TX,
captivating audiences with their powerful and emotional live show. By
the time the band had returned to New York, they had become a nationally
known band that had been played on over 200 radio stations, including
New York's 92.3 K-Rock Radio, as well as Maxim Radio on Sirius 108.
SEER is currently working on their second album, which is being produced by Mike Watts (As Tall As Lions, Hopesfall) at VuDu Studios, in Freeport, New York.
Press:
"...these guys have completely mastered the art of music as a full
landscape. Not one channel goes to waste, and it is damn near
impossible to not want to hear what they are going to be doing next,
whether it's within the boundaries of a particular song, an album, or
the band's career. Pay very close attention to these guys in the
future." - Steve-O, Wrank Music
"[A] more rocking Radiohead ... certainly worth your time and
attention. Long Island comes through with some interesting and
promising music." - Kevin Nolan, Under The Volcano
"...a sound that will surely move people, both on record and live." - Dan Brown, Goodtimes Magazine
We're very very happy to announce to you all that Joey None is Seer's new bassist! He's a very talented guy, as well as being one of the nicest guys we've ever met.
So yes, this means that you can expect new Seer music and shows in the future!
All that's left to be said is what was said before...
...stay tuned..

Your words, thoughts, emotions have such an impact in your life which is why you must be conscious of what you are saying, thinking and feeling. Your emotions have a strong vibratory effect in life. If you are a singer or actor you must always find a balance. Have you ever heard of any artist or actor that is living out in their personal lives what they sing about or a role from their films? Well I have, some examples are Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Christian Bale, Will Smith, Heather O'Rourke, Heath Ledger, Kane West, Steve Irwin, Gloria Trevi, Amy Poehler, Jennifer Lopez.
Let me explain, Tupac and Biggie sang about violence and they both died violently. Christian Bale was in trouble with the authorities in his film and then it happened in his personal life. Heather ORourke acted in films about being taken to the other side, she passed away at a very tender age. Heath Ledger played a very dark role in his last film, he ended in a very dark place at the end of his life. Steve Irwin according to his wife in an interview with Larry King would state after every new experience in the wild something to the fact of "I can die and go to heaven I have experienced it all now". Steven Irwin died doing what he loved best, exploring the wild. Gloria Trevi had a popular Cd called "What am I doing here" with a hit single called Dr. Psiquiatra. Years later she mirrored some of what she sang in this particular album in her life. Will Smith and Kane West sing songs about money, fame and success, they have attained it. Amy Poeler played a woman who pretended to be pregnant and then was surprised to become pregnant in the film "Baby Mama". By the time the film was released Amy was pregnant (last spring) and recently gave birth to a baby boy. Jennifer Lopez played a role of a singer and shortly after the film "Selena" she crossed over from actress to singer. etc.. to read more visit my blog.

So sorry for the lack of comments but i have been VERY busy lately.
For the past two months i've been doing volonteer work at my local SPCA No surprise i spend more time with the cats then the dogs hehe but i do give some dogs my attention sometimes.
The cats what i do is i take one(or several depending if more then one is in the same kennel)in the cat playroom and i pet/play/brush with the kitty/ies.
I can tell you it's been a real rewarding experience doing volonteer work there and it makes me so happy to see that some animals i've spent time with have been adopted:)
