About me: This is the most inspiring photo I have ever seen, from the Hubble Ultra Deep Field. There are over 10,000 galaxies in this picture. That's 10,000 galaxies in a space that "is smaller than a 1 mm by 1 mm square of paper held 1 meter away, and equal to roughly one thirteen-millionth of the total area of the sky," according to Wikipedia.

Who I'd like to meet: My friends' babies that I haven't gotten to see yet. Someone who has the career I want so I can ask them how they did it.
You are doing an amazing job with Burning Man. I am sorry I am not going to be able to see you in action but I look forward to all the photos you will take and hearing all your stories. Look forward to seeing you in NYC in October!
I love you Caryn! Your wit, intelligence, and great heart continue to inspire me! I saw one of the UTube clips w/ Neil deGrasse Tyson. I noticed a website address captioned in one of them....MarkMolaro. com. Have you seen it? I love it! I'm going to send them messages & links galore on social entrepreneurship and do my best to awaken a new kind of social consciousness that actually solves poverty! I feel like I have a voice now!
I'll have to do that! (Wow--only took me a few weeks to reply. Eep.)
Actually had an eerily vivid dream last night that I was in NYC. Most remarkable thing was how neat it was to live in a pedestrian city, and how absolutely little it mattered that I don't drive--EVERYTHING was equally accessible, or at least equally inaccessible, on foot. It reminded me in some ways of a series of giant mini-malls separated by streets. Does that sound a lot like NYC? (He said, having read an awful lot about it over the years but never actually visited!)
Yeah, I definitely need to visit NYC sometime. I have a feeling I really would love it. I'm a very urban guy, for sure. Makes me nervous if I'm in the suburbs at night because it's actually DARK outside, and that's not right--the sky's supposed to be purple from the city lights, like it is in Jackson! (My bold metropolis of Jackson, with its stunningly massive population of 180,000. Why, if that isn't big-city, I don't know what is!)
Hey, thanks for the add! :o) So far I've still got my hair and my teeth, so maybe this whole outgrowing-the-twenties thing is going to work! Started taking Geritol, though, just in case...
do you live next to the cosby's?!?! i'll have to drop in with a housewarming gift when i travel home. when that will be. . .??? miss you, caryncita! xo
