About me: I'm a producer/director/podcaster and writer. I've been fortunate in that I got in on the corporate side of filmmaking right out of college and while in college.
I'll be finishing my Phd in the fall in Higher Education Administration. I am focusing on Edutainment & Convergence: How can entertainment techniques and technology be utilized in higher education? I have a Master's in Telecommunications Management with a speciality in Production Managment, and a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. I also studied law for 1 1/2 years and was a union representative for 7 years.
I have produced more than 400 films, documentaries, videos, live television, local television, live conferences, live training sessions, radion spots, key note addresses, info-mercials, video news releases, promotional videos, commercials and public service announcements. I have worked with two of the last three presidents, Senator Clinton, Johnie Cochran, Jaime Lee Curtis, Tavis Smiley, Cornell West, Dick Gregory, Michael Powell, Robert Mosbacher, Al Gore, Edward James Almos and others.
I also have a marketing, advertising and public relations background from working for agencies and in radio during my first seven years in the business while doing video.
I am also a key note speaker and trainer. This is the professional me, but not who I am.
