Sefelt formed a while ago, played many gigs, had many drummers, releasing 2 records 'See Ep' and the 'Stephen Hawking then the Peepshow' 7" single along the way.
Primarliy an instrumental and improv unit to begin with- Sefelt began to turn their jams into cohesive tracks which didn't go unnoticed by gig promoters and the press/media. A short Saturday morning converstion later on the pronunciation of 'Sefelt' the incomparable John Peel confirmed we're doing something right and went on to play with some great bands like Hope of the States, The Futureheads, Kasabian, Maximo Park and Kubichek!
After a years hiatus to study Sefelt are back with new influences, new ideas, new tunes and 'vocals'. Discovering a new found respect for song form Sefelt make music the same way but just hear it differently. Listen for yourself!
