Coming together in 2006, we began as a group of friends playing music together, and loving every minute of it! Transitioning from one place to another, Massachusetts to Maryland, finding an incredible drummer along the way, former members of Western Mass favorite Gadams Equation reformed, and retooled smoothly and without interruption into Segway, an uninhibited force in the live electronic music scene.
Causing tears to flow from the eyes of men, blood to quicken its pace through the bodies of women, and sweat to flow from everyone in the room, Segway demands that people take note, begs folks to dance, and requires that each and every person at each and every show Grind Fresh!
Bottom line: We want to party, and we are inviting everyone who loves live music, likes to get down, and lives to Grind Fresh to come out and dance your pants off to disco beats, ambient jams, and funky breaks, all live, all instrumental. No samples, no turntables, just inspiration. And to clarify... we LOVE samples... and we LOVE turntables.
Segway: Steve, Eric, and the Gordons’ way... Accept No Substitutes.
Grind Fresh!
Sounds Like
An amalgamation of synth, rhythm, syncopation, and funk.
Brought together with a touch of ambient grooves and walls of filtered pads and waves of motion. Add that to disco beats and stir with an incessant crowd gyrating, and writhing along to the madness, and you've got yourself a bit of Segway.
Grind Fresh party people, join the fun!
Oh... and we bring a little attitude too...
Add Our Gydget!
Definition of Segue: to make a transition from one thing to another smoothly and without interruption
Definition of Segway: In your face Live, Organic Disco Breakbeat House. Smoothly transitioning from fast paced, driving rhythms and heavy synth and guitar leads to slow, ambient grooves combining out of this world effects with atmospheric riffs and bass lines. Segway has begun to search for new frontiers in live, organic dance music.
Just wanted to make sure you'll be signing up for Flip Cup Baltimore season which begins December 2nd! If you already have a team of 10-15 people, that's great. If not, we'll group you with others to form the team.

You guys put on a great show at the 8x10 last night. It was the first time I've seen you live and it was a bad ass show. It was nice meeting you all last night too. Good luck with everything and hope to share the stage with you guys sometime in the future. Good luck. Peace!
