It all started in the 80's with a fascination for electronic music in those times : Front 242, Nizer Ebb, The Neon Judgment, Skinny Puppy, Psyche etc
Researching how this music was made , Seiko found out he could actually produce music on my own, in the beginning working with an Atari as sequencer, and an old Akai S-900 sampler and a Kawai K-1 keyboard.
Encouraged by his environment, tracks spread around on tapes, one day catching the attention of Koen Lybaert -aka Starfish Pool who invited Seiko for a live set on his 'Silver' label-night, together with Rude 66...being one of Seiko's favourite artists from the Bunker label together with Unit Moebius and RA-X.
What bound them together ? The love for harsh industrial techno with a lick of acid.
After a release on Nova Zembla/KK Records more live sets were done with sound-alikes Riou (Japan) , Black Lung (Australia), Unit Moebius (Nl) , and many more.
At the same time Seiko was part of 'Radical Noise', organizing techno parties and DJ'ing on it with the likes of Kozz, Lysergic, Spacid, Meniac , Q-ic, JoeXN2... all sharing an interest for the underground techno sound.
Seiko also played on parties including Kozzmozz, Fuse, Democrazy, Total Techno, Technoir... with the likes of Surgeon, Umek and many more.
Meanwhile the studio kept growing and Seiko's sound became more refined, but always with a dark , minimalistic, industrial atmosphere.
These days Seiko is still influenced by all kinds of electronic music which is reflected in the diversity of his productions : still lots of minimal techno, but also sidesteps to more dubby atmospheric creations.
