Ospiti di “W Radio Due” di Fiorello e Baldini e “Notturno Italiano” di Radio Rai International I SEIOTTAVI TRIONFANO al Festival SOLEVOCI!!  1° luglio 2007, 1° premio per miglior gruppo vocale, 1° premio per il programma dal maggior interesse artistico, 1° premio per il brano più votato

I "Sei Ottavi" si sono formati all'inizio del 2005, ma la loro storia trae origine dai fratelli maggiori, i "Sette Ottavi", nati sempre a Palermo nel 1995; l'originalità del gruppo e le collaborazioni con nomi come Bennato, NOA, Tosca, Arbore, crearono molto interesse. L'unico superstite di quella formazione, analoga per elementi vocali, è Massimo Sigillo' Massara, fondatore del vecchio e del nuovo gruppo. Nell'estate 2005 i SeiOttavi hanno debuttato a Palermo con lo spettacolo "Sette voci fra i Secoli" alla galleria d'architettura EXPA; il 1° Luglio hanno aperto i "Corollari del Festino di Santa Rosalia"; il 30 Luglio sono stati il gruppo spalla di Lucina Lanzara nel cartellone internazionale "Marée" di Kalsart ed infine a settembre sono stati il coro del Musical ..Boccadoro The Traveller.. per quattro re-pliche (Teatro Antico di Segesta, teatro di Verdura a Palermo). Nel 2006 dopo alcuni concerti nella Provincia di Palermo hanno presentato al Teatro Metropolitan di Palermo lo spettacolo concerto di Video-Teatro "Il Muto Canta a Cappella" con un ottimo successo di pubblico. A settembre sono stati il coro del Musical "Corleone - La Storia di Filippo Latino" per cinque repliche. Hanno prodotto il primo lavoro discografico, "In Onda". Hanno arrangiato ed eseguito "Piccolo Uomo" di Mia Martini per il concerto tributo, brano inserito nel cd compilation legato all'evento.

Guests of "W Radio Due" of Fiorello and Baldini and "Notturno Italiano" of Radio Rai International. The vocal swing ensemble “SeiOttavi”was formed at the end of 2004, but it takes origin from the elder brothers “Sette Ottavi”, founded in Palermo in 1995 and suddenly under the spotlight for the originality of their music., which brought them to cooperate with artists such as E. Bennato, Noa, R. Arbore and others more. The only outlasting member of that former ensemble, identical for the vocal structure, is M.S.M thje founde of the old and new group. The SeiOttavi are made up of 7 voices, inspired in their vocal structure by the famous a cappella ens.”Swingle Singers” , but also by other famous vocal groups such as Manhattan Transfer and performing classicals such as Brahms,Mozart all performed in a Contemporary a Cappella style, with a swinging backing. The performance is characterized by instrumental effects and onomatopoeical.. Many of the arrangements of the music performed by Sei Ottavi are written by Vincenzo Biondo and M. Sigillò Massara. In summer 2005 the SeiOttavi started off in Palermo with the show “Seven Voices through Centuries” performed at the Modern Design and Architecture Gallery EXPA, repeating that same performance soon after in occasion of the “Festino di S.Rosalia”wich took place in the baroque church “Santa Professa” in Palermo. The SeiOttavi opened the concert of the sicilian song writer Lucina Lanzara “Maree” at the “Spasimo” church in Palermo, in occasion of the Summer Music Festival Kals Art Palermo. That same(summer) year they appeared at the “Sollima” theatre in Marsala(Tp), and performed live in a famous Radio Show “Tutti pazzi x Mary” Radio Time. They took part in August and September as the choir, to the original musical”Boccadoro the Traveller” written by M.S.M. and directed by F.Angelini, performed in some of the most important theatre in Western Sicily, such as Teatro di Verdura Palermo, Teatro di Segesta TP, and Corleone (Villa Comunale). They’ve started 2006 with concerts in the surrounding area of Palermo, but it was in June 8 2006 with the Movie Theater Show: “Il muto canta a Cappella” gaining a great success of audience at the Metropolitan Theater of Palermo. In September 2006 they were the choir of the new Musical “Corleone la storia di Flippo Latino” writtrn by M.S.M. and N.Anselmo ,performed in Corleone for five repeat performances. In January 2007 they’ve performed with a new show “Radio Sei Ottavi” in Messina at the church S.Maria degli Alemanni, and soon after they’ve made a performance at the Candelai Club (PA), and a concert at the church S.Stefano.
