Hey, we're Seized Of Darkness, and we're a Christian metal band from Portland, Oregon. We started out in 2006 when God brought us together to make music to serve him. Perceiving the world as darkness and God as light we came up with our name, which indicates God has seized us from the darkness of the world. As a band we try to stay away from classifying ourselves, we just play metal, and we're Christians, so that explains it pretty well. God has opened some amazing doors for us to be able to record a few tracks and play some awesome shows, and we would like thank everybody who has been so generous and helpful to us in getting our music out there. Unfortunately, as of late, we lost two key musicians: our bassist Jared, and our lead guitarist Josh; we're currently looking for someone to fill their shoes! Oh, and just for the curious....just because we are Christians doesn't mean we are judgmental! We'll play a show with anybody (unless your band name is We Hate Seized Of Darkness) anywhere we can. Hey Seized Of Darkness (new song up now!) , what's up! Thanks for your friendship and support. It really means a lot to us! Our new album "The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A" is out and should be in stores, at least that's what our record company told us. ha,ha. dudes did awesome on the new track! i really like the diversity you have. unfortunately i havent had any time to work on this project because i joined another band recently. its called carnal deformity. its kinda metalcore but we are changing to more brutal and less core. i do appreciate your interest in the grubbling and keep me posted on the latest Seized Of Darkness songs.
