| General | I love reading/writing, it's probably one of the reasons I like the internet so much, lets you read a lot of abstract things, especially with peoples blogs, and it gives me somewhere to write if I'm in the mood. Even just ranting is fun.
Also, I like the whole webdesign thing which is funny since I wouldn't peg myself as an 'artistic' person, I do like photography though, when I'm all rich and stuff, I'm going to have a big three storey victorian house with my own darkroom and everything.
I also like the generic stuff like shopping, I have a thing for shoes. Oh and movies, I'm a big movie-person, I used to see at least 1-2 movies a week but then the whole hollywood industry turned to shit. Movies are less appealing these days. I love pop-culture-references.
Music is good too, big fan of music, my whole musical-taste thing is pretty varied, I kind of skip around from jazz, blues, classical etc to rock, punk, alternative, whatever you want to call it really. I used to play the drums, then my drum teachers band got signed and they moved to England so I kind of stopped. I need a new kit anyway, and a place to play it.
I'm also a big fan of travelling, I really want to go backpacking around Europe and spend a year or more in France or Ireland or both, I love museums and art and historical things, I was a big fan of history subjects, so I think Europe would be great. I'll do it one day. | | Music | Onto the music tastes, be warned I'm going to throw out a lot of bands/singers and you're going to be thinking 'wtf' on a couple of them. I'm a little whacky but hey, if it works :)

About me:
I'm Ash/Ashie, whatever you prefer, I'll even answer to 'Cracker', courtesy of Ben for that one. I'm currently living in the good ol' ACT, studying at the University of Canberra. I'm doing Public Relations with a Major in International Studies. It's great fun. Most of my friends agree that I talk a -lot- so getting paid the big bucks to be a 'professional communicator' is definitely the career meant for me! :)
I'm generally independent, I have my own unit, my own car, my own debts. It's all good though; I used to work at Parliament House but that got old after a year so I made my connections and left. I'm in a nice cushy government job so I'm pretty happy with everything right now.
I need my extra-curricular activities or otherwise I'd just go completely insane. Right now I'm doing ballroom, latin and south american dancing, so it's a total of 12 different dances, it's great fun though. I've been dancing various styles since I was 3-4 so it's good to keep myself busy. I don't mind the occasional weekend out with my mates, when the finances allow, although I'm always up for a quiet night of movies and whatnot.
Otherwise I don't think there is much else to say about me.. if you really needed to know more you could always ask..
I have a fairy floss machine.
