Seksu Roba is a Japanese-Korean-American electronic music group based in Los Angeles. Using theremin, mini-moog, and micro-processor based technology, they create space groove electro-love vibrations that expand the mind and libido while massaging the soul.
Seksu Roba features Japanese artist/designer/vocalist Lun*na Menoh and Korean producer/thereminist Sukho Lee. The two met through Los Angeles' underground electronic scene. Lun*na's background is in visual arts: fashion design/art, painting, installations, etc. which she has incorporated into the band through her unique costume and conceptual art.
Sukho Lee's background is in classical music which helped him learn the theremin. Sukho's musicianship has allowed him the opportunity to tour with Damo Suzuki - former lead singer of the legendary German 60's progressive rock band, CAN.
Together they put on an arousing live show with Lun*na on synth, vocals and other surprises, and Sukho on synth and theremin. Also commonly featured are a dancing robot, Erector (designed by Victor White), who tends to shock audiences with his large endowment, and bizarre video projections. Their stimulating multi-dimensional live
experience has helped earn the group a nomination for Best Electronic Dance Artist for The LA Weekly Music Awards 2003 and 2004.
Seksu Roba released their second album, Pleasure Vibrations October 2003 on Eenie Meenie Records, and plan to continue to tour and release new songs and remixes on compilations and singles.

Sukho LIVE on my TV!!,I happened to be walking through when I see him performing a Theremin act for kids on Yo Gabba Gabba. I remember this act greatly from the Jean Jaques Perrey show at the Knitting Factory!!! Stranger even is some guy talked to me about Yo Gabba Gabba at THAT show??!!
Hope you enjoy this: So last night I dreamed Chris of Faraway Places had made me custodian of a number of Elliott Smith files and reel-to-reel tapes, which I was to write some sort of review of, but they had suffered extensive water damage. In the box were some homemade handheld video games created by Kevin Lee of Seksu Roba and him, where they both had the high scores. The first game was a combination of Pac Man and Galaga in which Binky, Pinky, etc. fell from the sky firing rockets at Pac Man, who was free to run around the screen without a maze, but had to avoid a train crossing a river. I was bummed because I didn't know how I would write the article. Then I woke up. I hope you have enjoyed this True Dream (tm).
