She also is in charge of selling our T-shirts as well as attending practices when she gets a chance. Kevin The official Seladora Mosh Pit Madman! He kicks ass in the Mosh pit. He has gotten his ass kicked, and then turned around and kicked even more ass than he was before. He is known for getting headbutted by Tony during Seladora's Debut show at Cardi's. Tony The official Seladora Mosh Pit King! He uses alchohol like Popeye uses spinach. This guy will beat the shit out of anyone in the mosh pit and then laugh as he searches for another victim. His most famous incident is head butting Kevin in the eye during Seladora's debut show at Cardi's. Henry Official Seladora Mosh Pitter! One of the guys we can always count on to get everything started. When Henry and Winston get together during a show you might as well leave if you wish to stay out of the hospital. Unrelenting and merciless is how he rocks out! Winston Official Seladora Mosh Pitter! The second part of the "fuck 'em up" crew. Winston will get down and dirty with anyone...and most likely be victorious. Winston has never let us down during a good mosh pit, he will help you up...then knock your ass right back down where you belong.

About Seladora

*UPDATE*

Unfortunately Seladora is no longer an official band. However, what Seladora stands for and what Seladora means to the fans still lives on. Chris and Shane have kept the dream of Seladora alive in their hearts and shall continue to drive themselves to fulfill that dream. We have taken the leftover pieces of Seladora and have decided to continue its existence through other means. Although we will no longer be able to play shows for any of you, you are more than welcome to continue listening to the music we have produced to date. We will post updates on this websites as to our other projects. Feel free to message us anytime. We will still be checking this profile for those of you who wish to continue to chat it up with us. We appreciate all the support our fans have given us. You guys are the best. We will miss the moshpits and and screams you all threw at us. But most of all, we will miss the way you all made our dreams come true. We accomplished things we never thought we would be able to. And it was all because of you, the fans. We love you all. Thank you!

News! *Updated*

10/1/06  -  Ok so we got our CD from the studio.  Its a rough mix with the vocals for "Mister Mistress" which has been uploaded onto this website so you can check it out using the player above.  Also, we got the rough mixes for "Beauty Instinct" and "Inner Illusion."  We have some tweaking to do on some of the levels and effects, but as a whole what you hear is pretty much how the finished product will sound.  We still need to record the vocals for "Serenity" and "Sin Within."  Hopefully we will have those for you soon.  We are so excited about the CD.  Just so you all know, we will be giving away CD's of three songs for free and selling CD's of five songs for $5 each.  We will definately have some CD's for you guys at the next show we play at which is scheduled for Oct. 14 at the Darkroom and at Fitzgerald's Main Stage on November 11th.  Hope to see you guys at the shows and hope you guys like the songs so far.  Till next time...Keep Rocking!!!

9/12/06  -  Well, recording has commenced.  Yesterday Shane and will went into the studio to track the drum part for a 5 song demo.  We arrived shortly after 9 a.m. on the 11th and were done packing up by 11:30.  It was crazy how fast Will tracked his parts.  Drums usually go pretty fast but he got almost all of the songs in less than three takes.  Eric and Chris begin their sessions either Thursday the 14th, or Friday the 15th.  We really appreciate all the help and flexibility that Hank from Magellan Sound Studio has been giving us.  We have done some phone tag and some rescheduling but it is all finally coming together.

9/9/06  -   Ok well we haven't posted a new update in a while...but we have had a lot of things happen since the last one.  We have a new lineup, new shows, and new songs (hopefully it will be ready by the next show).  First things first, last week J.B. and the band went in separate directions due to musical differences.  Because of the loss of our singer, Shane has volunteered to step up to the mic.  Also, some great news is that we have Eric back.  Shane was pretty good on bass...but by no means as good as Eric.  Also, we have turned in an application to play for Sugar Land's Teenstock Music Festival in Town Center.  We are still waiting for a response so keep your fingers crossed.  Another show that we have booked is on October 14th at The Coffee Retreat/Darkroom.  We also booked another gig at Fitzgerald's, but this one is going to be way different and the biggest show of the bands career.  On November 11 Seladora will debut on the Fitzgerald's Main Stage upstairs!!!  That will be a show to remember.  One more thing...on Monday Sept. 11 we are going into the studio to start recording a five song demo.  We will be recording at Magellan Sound Studio with Engineer Hank Hamberg.  Hank is an amazing sound engineer and has worked with Shane before in his former band Based on a True Story.

8/13/06  -  Holy Shit! What a show last night.  The only thing we can manage to say is "WOW!" The fans were greater that we could have ever hoped for.  You guys made that show rock the way it did!  We just gave you guys a little background music.  We can't explain to everyone what it feels like to walk out on stage, play a song to people that has come from our hearts and minds, and have the pure sweet sound of deafening screams being returned to us from our fans when we finish.  This is definately a dream come true.  Last night we played (for the first time) without our bass player Eric.  Though he was unable to be with us last night, he did call and wish us luck before the show.  Well Eric, we rocked the house dude!  Shane did an awesome job picking up the bass and learning the bass parts for the show and Chris did an awesome job with Shane's solos.  We did a lot of instrument and structure tweaking for this show but it all came together perfectly for an amazing rockfest with fellow bands Red Star of the Solar Federation, Useful Information, and Bad Sun.  Once again we would like to thank the fans who did a kick ass job of rocking out and getting us as hyped up as we got them.  You guys are great.  We couldn't ask for better fans.  See you guys at the next show.

7/2/06  -  What a crazy week we had. Three shows within a 6 day period. The Fitzgeralds show was fucking amazing. By far our best performance yet. Well until we have another show. We had some tuning problems with the guitars and had to cut our setlist a couple of songs short, but we didnt let that keep us from blowing that place up. Once again we won the crowd over. We felt bad for the band after us because we had the crowd so hyped that it was hard to follow. Well enough about that. We are trying to get into the studio very soon to drop a demo, so be on the look out for that. I believe we will be playing battle of the bands July 28 at Java Jazz. If you would like a ticket to that, be sure to let us know. Again we cant thank you enough for all the support. Keep rockin!

6/27/06  -  Ok so Saturday's show rocked the fuck out.  We played at the Vampire Club in North Houston which is apparently the land that A/C forgot about.  The club felt like it was 100 degrees.  J.B. and Shane almost passed out on stage and J.B. said that after the show he felt like throwing up.  The stage was small and even hotter than the club...but, the lights there kicked ass.  It was difficult to play in because none of us have ever played with lights as intricate and crazy as those.  It was very disorientating.  However, overall we had an awesome time.  It was so much fun to play there.  The band that went on after us was called Hara Devi and at the end of their set they told people in the audience, who had to vote for their 2 favorite bands, to vote for them and to vote for us because we kicked ass and rocked the fuck out.  The guitarists exact words were "For those of you that came late make sure you fill out your voting papers.  Vote for Hara Devi and make sure you vote for Seladora because you guys missed one hell of a show.  Those guys rock! Trust me!"  So it was awesome to get a shoutout on stage from another band.  Now we are looking forward to playing at Fitzgerald's on the 29th and again at Cardi's on the 30th.  Hope to see all of you guys there rocking out with us!

6/22/06  -  It's been a while since our last update but as most of you can see, we have some more shows booked for your enjoyment.  Our next show is at the Vampire Club on June 24 @ 8 p.m. We got screwed on the call time but it's all good.  On June 29 we will rock Fitzgerald's once again at 9:30 p.m.  And finally on June 30 we play at Cardi's 2000 @ 10 p.m.  That makes 3 shows within 6 days.  That's pretty fucking sweet.  You can get details on the show by clicking the postings above or checking out the "SHOWS" section to the left.  We have flyers for the Vampire Club and Fitz shows so please feel free to print them out and pass them around to anyone and everyone.  Also, we have finished a new song that we added to the setlist.  It is called "Sin Within" and the lyrics to the song can be found in the lyric section below.  The song kicks major ass and will debut at the Vampire club.  If you can't make the vampire show then fear not, you will most definately hear it at Fitzgerald's.  We will see you guys there.  Rock On!!!

6/8/06  -  2 more shows have been confirmed for Seladora.  We have a show at Vampire Club on June 24 @ 8:00 p.m. as well as another rock fest at Fitzgerald's on June 29 @ 9:30 p.m.  We are also setting up another show at Cardi's which is tentatively set to July 22 @ 10 p.m.  The flyer for the Vampire Club show is up already.  You can see that flyer by clicking on the date in the "Shows" section.  You must have the printed flyer for that show in order to enter the club.  Also, the flyers for the next Fitz show will be up very soon so you will be able to print those out and pass them to anyone who you want to bring.  We will have more updates for you all very soon as we confirm all of our plans.

5/29/06  -  Last night was so fucking awesome.  The Cardi's show was nothing compared to what Fitzgerald's heard last night.  The energy was crazy, the songs were amazing and we rocked out so much that we blew the power...ok so it was only J.B. jumping on the power cable and unplugging the guitars.  But we had the whole fucking bar up and jumping around.  We were the most popular band last night.  We rocked some more people, sold some more shirts, and got some more fans.  Thus far we should have another show at Fitzgerald's on Thursday June 29.  It's a weird day to have a show but thats when breakout night is so that's what we have to settle for.  Thank you so much to everyone who came out.  You guys don't know how much it means to us to have support from you all.  To those who missed it, there will be plenty more Seladora to come so don't think you have missed your chance to listen to a great fucking band.  Once again  Jugs has done an awesome job of taking pics and posting them up asap, and Connie did an amazing job of headbanging while selling shirts.  You girls rock! We wouldn't be able to do it without our roadies.  Thanks Ladies! More shows are always coming up so check in often for your next chance to be blown away by the sounds of Seladora.

5/21/06  -  Last night's show kicked so much ass it's not even funny.  We figured we would get quite a bit of support last night but we never thought we would get as much as we did.  When all was said and done we had 55 people (all but a few of which had never even heard our music before).  The shirts were a big hit as well.  We cannot thank all of you enough for coming out and supporting us.  It was so fucking awesome.  As you can see we have some pics from the show uploaded in the comment section curteousy of our everpopular roadie "Jugs." We will have pics and songs up for your viewing and listening pleasure as soon as possible.  Thanks again to everyone for coming out and supporting Seladora.  You guys fucking rock.
