Selaxon Lutberg & We Wait for the Snow.

I was born (1985) at home in Cisterna di Latina (Centre of Italy), probably I'm the last born in this little country because there aren't any hospitals. I spent my childhood playing beetwen decadent buildings, the little bourgeois house and in desolate streets of my quarter but also on the bucolic uncultivated land not far from my house. During the teenage I passed some time between Rome (in search of music), latina (a province city where I had school and where I passed decadent suburbian nights) and Cori (to drink, smoke and sleep in the woods with few friends). I abandoned high school before taking the graduation. At the age of eighteen I became vegetarian. Now I live with my dog in Rome (where I manege two music labels, a little music mailorder and a B&B) but I hope to move in a more naturalistic place. My biggest desire is to have a little woodhouse where I can live with some animals. Andrea Penso

* The Selaxon Lutberg discography’s is much wide but the very full albums are only two, the first “Total Control in the Heart of the Sun” printed by Butcher’s House [2005] and the last “Cold House of Love” edit by Eibon records [November 2006], the residue of discography are a very limited editions of different collaborations with other artists and some e.p.

We Wait for the Snow project was born in the winter season of 2004/05. The sound is deliberately lo-fi, and is created exclusively with economical instruments : acoustic and electric guitars, cheap keyboards and old synth, varius no-musical objects, flute, toys percussions, accordeon, tapes ... The intent is create a confidential atmosphere in the balance between “dream” (wait the snow is like dreaming) and bitter tears concreteness (the snow probably it will never arrive). This sense of precarious balance to find in a practice level on the songs that alternate moments of pure improvisation and others more studied and controlled.
