The story of Selcouth..
It all started when Danijel and Ivan once met each other and dreamed about playing in a metal band. At that time Ivan was playing some rock coveres with the band called Crimsom. So Danijel remebered his longtime friend Robi who was playing guitar at that time and made him into the bass guitar player. But still, there was something missing...The drums, offcourse. So,their friend Fifi found them one; Bera, who was playing drums in another rock covering band The Humskey. So, they started to play some metal covers, and soon after that they created the first song "Lost at the end".
Still,after few months of rehearsal they didn't had the name for the band. And they caled it "Dark Prophecy". In couple of months they made several songs (The begginning of the end, Release my demons, Take that life-my child, Leave my pride, etc...). After that followed few gigs in region and then in Zagreb(croatian capital city) and in Slovenia. And than out of nowhere came two of their best songs; Princess of darkness, and Forever cursed. Then Ivana joined the band doing some back vocals for two gigs and left... In the spring of 2007 came Iva and stayed for six months doing the lead vocals and then also left...
So the original line-up thought they had to change the name and after many hours and hours of counceling the name was chosen: Selcouth...
