People who like cats also seem to like me, for largely similar reasons: they enjoy being mostly ignored by a territorial creature that requires lots of space, apart from at mealtimes, when I make appreciative noises, and at additional random intervals when I dole out dollops of brief but gratifying affection.

I’m extremely talkative, except when I don’t want to talk to anyone, which is quite often.
I like talking about current events, politics, technology and the future of society.
I read a lot of science fiction, and tend to think about everything in terms of science and logic.
I’m not very arty, but I love writing. Arty people confuse and fascinate me and fill me with jealousy.
I’m very extroverted except when it comes to meeting people I find attractive, when I suddenly lose all ability to speak and think. Please don’t hold this against me.
