Hola! My name is Miko! some of you may know me as Selenawannabe because I am such a huge fan of the late tejano singer Selena. I am also called Bass Girl because
of my love of the bass guitars and the fact that I play bass too.
I enjoy meeting new friends and welcome all! I am pretty much the fun, love to party gal, but know when it is time to be serious.
And with any one who loves Selena's music and beauty as
much as I do-you are all welcomed too! She has touched
our hearts...and has brought many great friends to me.
I am an artist. I draw pictures. My fave subject has been Selena, but I draw other things too. I also have a love for music. I have always related my life to music-relate songs to my feelings. If I am in love or pissed off, I have a
song for that!! I play bass guitar and some piano/keys. I can hear something and pick it out-play by ear..I think that is somewhat of a talent. I am teaching myself how to play the bass-can't afford a teacher but I must be getting somewhere because I have a few songs under my belt now!
I have three children: Daniel, Krisha and Marlena. My mother is full blooded Japanese and so that makes me half Japanese and half white. The white in me are English, Irish and Dutch. A lot of people often mistaken me for being Latina or Mexican! lol!
I am also a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. I don't know football that much but they are MY #1 team!
Michael Waltrip is my favorite NASCAR driver. I have been a fan of his since 1990, and I know him personally.serious!
As I mentioned earlier,I love the bass! I have a weakness for the sound of the bass guitar. I have since I was about 12-13 years old. It is sort of a "turn on" for me-esp. when it is played in funk style!!! OHMYGOD! You want to see me drop to my knees....watch me on the dance floor when there is a bass part that is funk-I seem to get a certain look on my face. The bass is a huge turn on for me! Slap it for me babe! Last by not least, I am a huge fan of clubbing. You don't have to be a bad person to go to the clubs and have a great time. Dancing is a passion of mine and also love tha live bands. After all I was a groupie back in my days! My favorite hang out is The Silver Bullet or Coyote's.
I still see Rhes Reeves perform with the Savannah River Boys at The Silver Bullet, where I am also good friends with Jay Johnson (bass player) also from that band. Thanks for making this chica smile again with your music!Love ya! Jay has gotten me over that stage fright and got me up on that stage-finally-to play bass (and even to sing!!)
Lo and behold you can sometimes find me at the Silver Bullet on karaoke nights playing my bass-getting prepared and over the stage fright by playing outside my home!!

And I don't want to leave out my best friend in the whole world, DeAnna (thanks girl! You have also been there for me thru tears and good times. I will always be thankful for going with me to Coyote's and even learning line dancing-just so I wouldn't be there all by myself-despite you aren't a big "country" fan).
