About me:

Well...this is about "us." But, Tony doesn't really contribute much to the site :-) So, here is my description of him....

Tony has a cuddly bear personality, a tender heart, a relentless determination for perfection, and unrelenting patience and understanding towards others. He is currently completing his final year of pharmacy school.

I am an English Graduate Teaching Assistant at FAU. I teach ENC1101 & 1102. I plan to get my Master's Degree in English this Fall (hopefully). Afterwards, I don't know... PhD? Teaching? I'm not too sure... (I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up =) I'm also quiet, creative, and I love to laugh!

Who I'd like to meet:
God, but I don't want to meet him (or her!) any time soon.

Following the documentary a round table discussion will be held with the following invited guests: Manuel Vázquez Portal: Sentenced to 18 years imprisonment on April 5, 2003. Julio Antonio Valdés Guevara: Part of the group arrested in the 2003 crackdown. He was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment on April 5, 2003. The event will conclude with a candlelight vigil for Cuba's political prisoners and in solidarity with Tibetans suffering a crackdown today by Chinese occupation authorities.
