I'm a weirdo. I'm a city slicker who not only loves small, country towns, I know how to behave in them. I like the small town scenes. They don't get many shows, or big name bands passing through them, so when they do, they are VERY appreciative. Small town scenes aren't as jaded as their city slicker counterparts. In small towns, there is a LOT MORE support for the local bands then there are in the big big city. Small town scenes are able to put aside differences that would normally divide big city scenes. The people involved in the scenes in small towns realize that they're all in this together. They do what they can to preserve what little they have. In spite, or despite what differences they have in life, unless you're a real fuck up, they all support each other because in the end, they realize that all they've got is each other. The Kenosha Punk Piknik is an annual Labor Day event that's been going on for about ten years or so.(I'm not sure EXACTLY how long it's been really going on. I'm just rounding off to the nearest zero) The Kenosha Punk Piknik was/is a f
