About me:

Sellaband.com is a crowd-sourcing website connecting Musicians and Fans in order to fund projects such as Albums or Tours together.

Artists offer incentives such as copies of their music, gig tickets, exclusive gifts or a revenue share of the album in return for 'parts' which fans or "Believers" purchase. Normally these parts are $10 each. Once the budget has been raised (between $10,000 and $100,000), The Artists use the funds raised to complete their Music Project.

So far, Sellaband has helped 34 Artists/Bands to fund an album.

For Albums, Sellaband has partnerships with the likes of Amazon, The Orchard, BOL, AOL amongst others.

Sellaband usually provide one track from each album as a free download. All the tracks on Reverbnation's player are included.
Simply go to the Store and then to the Artist you're interested in.

Most Musicians have a profile on MySpace, and this page links to a lot of Sellaband Artists. It's lets people check out the music that is available to buy and what can still be invested in (see the Top Friends), without having to leave Myspace itself.

The Blog is used to send out information on new Videos, News, Events and important Milestones.

I'm not connected to Sellaband, the company, in any way apart from being a 'Believer' on the website and investing in Artists on there.
