    Sexy Marvin is an enigmatic Brit-Rock band from America with unique melodic vocals, accompanied by strong and catchy music. The band came as a result of a long friendship between the members, which have been playing together since the mid 90's. The musical influences of the band range from Morrisey and Depeche Mode, to Pink Floyd, Yes and The Beatles. These and many more bands have shaped what is the sound of Sexy Marvin: a "trendy catchy timeless music" with powerful bass, guitar tones, special keyboards and piano with very brit rock beat, rhythm and sound. As an independent band they have come a long way from doing small local gigs to music festivals. They have also performed as an opening act for bands like Muse, The Killers and Peter Hook among many others. After the release of their EP title ¨Sexy Marvin¨, the band was ready to record their first full album title "Beautiful Combination" BAND MEMBERS Johnny D: Vocals & Guitars Milton: Bass & Backing Vocals Elvis:Piano & Keyboards EP The first Sexy Marvin EP was recorded and produced by the band with the collaboration of Phil Vinall. He has previously produced songs for Radiohead, Pulp and many important artists during his years in the business. And their sound is, well it's different. Follow is a rollicking, piano driven number with excellent baritone vocals and an awesome sing along harmonic chorus. It will make you think of Nick Cave at times, but also at time New Model Army while sounding completely nothing like either of the two. Enigmatic and fun, Sexy Marvin are a very cool band. Might be time to go and find some more of their music somewhere. Johnny D from Sexy Marvin recently played with Coldplay when they toured in Mexico and when they told the Coldplay guys they were collaborating with Matchbox they said "Yeah we know Matchbox they're cool". Well thanks Coldplay, we used to have an office a floor above where Coldplay recorded the "Yellow" demo and always predicted they would be huge. If the world has justice it'll be Sexy Marvin next for world domination. SECOND COLLABORATION: LAMC – COMPILATION 2010 Latin American Music Conference, New York City The Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) is a major conference geared towards the marketing of Spanish-language alternative music. It showcases what it considers the best in Latin music and the exciting fresh sounds coming out of rock, hip-hop and electronica scenes. LAMC features an annual search of bright new talent. Winners receive a chance to perform at an LAMC concert and inclusion on the LAMC compilation CD. MATCHBOX RADIO The song FOLLOW was air played on Matchbox Recordings Radio Station "Matchbox Radio" in the U.K.. Reaching the Top Ten most played song list on the station chart. This is the first time a Mexican band achieves a top position on radio charts in the United Kingdom. SHARING STAGE Sexy Marvin has shared the stage with many important bands and artists such as Muse, Coldplay, The Killers, Peter Hook among others.
