Sure did man, you can't miss that shit... The Bug, Pole, Neil Landstrumm, Distance etc etc all under one roof... it was better than toys'r'us! Not surprised we didn't cross paths tho, I find it hard enough to find the people you went with in that place (depending on how fucked you are). Anyway, safe for the Mary Anne props man, the choon is ace, wouldn't mind a copy of it, play it out on the northern front too... Take it EZ, Mico
Opening with the awesome bass pressure of the minimalist masterpiece ‘Deadstep’ and ending with the sublime underwater claustrophobia of ‘Unnamed Methane Sea’ this release is set to cement Micoland’s reputation as one of the people responsible for truly moving the dubstep blueprint into exiting new aural landscapes.

"I'm just impressed by how original, moving and cool the whole caboodle turns out to be.

The eagled eyed (or very nerdy) amongst you may have seen this name given engineering credits on the recent Burial remix of Jamie Woon, a sure sign of quality by association if we've ever seen one. Shades of Burial's style are apparent in Reso's productions here, 'toasted' comes with some darker sci-fi tinged atmospherics harking back to the feel of Foul Play or Photek records, but swings for precise Pinch styled halfstep minimalism for dancefloor drive. ' Boomkat on Toasted / Holograms(Pitch Black)
ëMASSIVE stepping largeness from Reso and Scuba remixing killer cuts from the Subway back catalogue courtesy of TRG and Mayhem. Reso tackles TRG's 'Horny' with a electric fervour, transforming the wildout breakbeat original into a compressed and technically accomplished breakstep beast, keeping the rude darkside attitude in place and filling any remaining spaces with screaming synths and tight mechanical shifts.í Boomkat on TRG / MAYHEM - The Remixes(Subway)

Sunday Funday is the not-for-profit inaugural post-clubbing chill-out monthly sunday evening event mixing live acts, DJs, dance, spoken word and circus in a student-friendly Bradford arty city centre venue. Translocating the summer festival vibe into the Love Apple Café Bar (near the Alhambra Theatre - see the map on our MySpace), action packed with all the fun of the fair, Sunday Funday is a great excuse to ditch the crap sunday night telly, and party with no stress. Open-minded, multi-cultural, multi-genre, you'll hear just about anything at our gigs. Whether it's funk, punk, reggae, hip hop, house, techno, dub, breaks, meaningful accoustic sets, or bitesized chunks of world music, we're down with all chilled-out vibes.
To reduce our carbon footprint, we showcase local acts as possible, giving maximum exposure to the stars of tomorrow, in conjunction with Fresh Milk (the Wild West Yorkshire music facilitators), we're helping new artists gain grass roots exposure. On the Sunday October the 5th bill, there's Freyed Knot headlining, plus Divine Shakras, Harris, DJ Shi'me, DJ Immi, Flloyd de Sousa, Meats, and many, many more. This time there's breakdance crew the Soul Monkeys, and future performances will include belly dance and burlesque, and live performance art. Entry is always a mere £3, with beer/lager/real ale at £2 a pint, and fresh veggie and meat hot dogs to keep thirst and hunger under check. There's no dress code, fancy dress optional but welcome.
We're not funded or sponsored in any way, and rely on the kindness and generosity of our able volunteers, so if you want Sunday Funday to suceed, show your support by turning up at the Love Apple carnival between 5 and 11pm and having one hell of a good time. Turn up, tune in, and chill!!!
