A long, LONG time ago...
S.A.K.O.A. was started by two friends, Mark Patton and Nate Enthusiasm.
For a time they hyped their band, made horrible recordings on cell phones and generally had a good time, while in Advanced Drama. One day, Nate heard that the long haired guy in his class made beats and proceeded to bother me... I mean him. So after a while, Tommi Frost helped out and made a few beats.
Boredom struck and S.A.K.O.A. became inactive... with Mark and Tommi going off and doing other things. Before anyone knew it, S.A.K.O.A. had 3 real members, Nate and his two cousins. (I'm not going to try to spell their names.) They produced the first S.A.K.O.A. album in all of 30 minutes, using a cell phone and senseless lyrics. Around this time, Tim tha Pimp! became their bassist.
It was under this lineup that S.A.K.O.A. played their first show at the Insomnia Venue, eating chicken and busting Dave Chappelle jokes onstage.
When the two cousins had to return home to Savannah GA, Nate decided to find a guitarist and drummer to fill these spots so that shows could continue.
After a while, he found Tommi, who despite being primarily a keyboard and bassist, was happy to fill in on guitar. On drums they found Amber Morris.
After a while, S.A.K.O.A. welcomed Shayne Goss into the band as the rhythm guitarist.
Then it happened. One night, while Tommi was drinking, (note from Tommi: Drinking is bad kids. There. no lawsuits.), he came up with the music to XII Play. After the initial success of XII Play, they realized keyboards would be needed from that point forward... and thus...
Tommi moved to keys and programming, replacing Amber's drums for a more electric, synth-based sound.
And that's the story of S.A.K.O.A.
